Reflectance Transformation Imaging
The Scope D50 is the first fully commercialized system to analyze artifacts' surfaces by Reflectance Transformation Imaging (RTI), also known as polynomial texture mapping.
The unique Scope D50 system exists in two versions, in a white LED version for the visible spectral range only and in a multispectral version. The multispectral option with additional ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) LEDs reveal vast amount of data that are invisible to the naked eye.
